Coleton E. Bragg - CFO - Mollenhour Gross, LLC

 

Coleton E. Bragg is the Chief Financial Officer for Mollenhour Gross, LLC, a private holding company that invests in operating businesses, commercial real estate, and other alternative investments.  Coleton earned a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance in 2007, a master of accountancy degree in audits/controls in 2008, and a law degree with a transactions/tax focus in 2011, all from the University of Tennessee.  He is a licensed attorney in the state of Georgia and Tennessee and a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of Georgia.  This year, he received the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).  

 

In his spare time, Coleton enjoys reading, running, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.  

 

 

Miranda Davis - Quintium Advisors

 

Miranda Davis is the Managing Director of Public Funds at Quintium Advisors in Knoxville, Tennessee, and currently serves as the Portfolio Manager of the Core Diversification Fund. As a member of the Investment Committee, Miranda participates in discussions regarding all strategies managed by Quintium Advisors. As Portfolio Manager for the Core Diversification Fund, she is responsible for the strategic and tactical allocations of the Fund. This includes overseeing and conducting analysis on the various investment categories and asset classes. Miranda heads Quintium’s research department and manages the organization’s team of analysts.


Prior to the launch of the mutual funds, Miranda played an integral role in the development and management of Quintium’s limited partnership strategies and was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the funds. Her main duties included analyzing economic and market data, creating financial models, and providing investment recommendations.


Prior to joining Quintium Advisors, Miranda worked as an analyst for Northshore Capital Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm. While at Northshore, Miranda worked on transactions in a variety of industries including document management, construction, and health care. Miranda’s responsibilities included building financial models and forecasts, conducting extensive industry and market research, and preparing offering documentation and marketing materials.


Miranda graduated from the University of Tennessee magna cum laude, with a degree in business administration, a major in finance, and a collateral in international business. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Columbia Business School. Miranda is a CFA Charterholder.

 

 

Ted L. Flickinger, Jr., CFA – Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Martin & Company

 

Mr. Flickinger joined Martin & Company in July, 1990 as the firm’s fixed income specialist and portfolio manager.  His responsibilities include fixed income strategy and portfolio management.  He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. 

 

Prior to joining Martin & Company, he was employed for six years as Assistant Manager of the investment department of Home Federal Bank of Tennessee.  In 1984, Mr. Flickinger helped establish Home Financial Services, Inc., a broker–dealer subsidiary of the bank.  Mr. Flickinger has also held management positions in the investment departments of The Park National Bank (now Regions Financial) and Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan of Knoxville (now Regions Financial).  He has over 35 years of investment experience.

 

Mr. Flickinger is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee (BS in Finance).  He has received the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). 

 

 

 

William Hankins - Financial Consultant, Fidelity Investments

 

Bill Hankins has been with Fidelity Investments since 2010 where he assists clients in Financial Planning and Investment Strategies.  Bill works several types of clients, anywhere from the hands-off investor who wishes to create a retirement plan to the self-directed active trader who wishes to sharpen their skills and act as a sounding board for investment ideas. 

Before joining Fidelity Investments, Bill worked on an Equity Trading Desk as well as a Compliance Officer for an Independent Broker/Dealer. He has over 17 years of industry experience, holding the FINRA Series 7,63, 55, 24,53, and 4 licenses.   Bill received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee where he also enjoys returning to guest lecture on occasion.  Bill enjoys spending time with his family (wife Amy, sons Jack and Luke), coaching youth sports, and travel.

 

 

 

 

Bryan Johnson - CFO, SmartBank

 

Bryan Johnson joined SmartBank in 2010 and serves as its Chief Financial Officer.  He is a 1991 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Economics, Mathematical. After college, he attended Officer Basic Training and Airborne School before serving as an Artillery Officer with the First Armored Division in Europe. Following a deployment to Bosnia as the Battalion Intelligence officer Johnson left the Army as a Captain. In 2000 Johnson received his J.D. and MBA in Finance from the University of Tennessee. Also in 2000 Johnson received the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation. Following graduate school, he joined Moon Capital Management, a registered investment advisor. There he was responsible for the research of investments on behalf of individual and institutional clients. Johnson also worked as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Tennessee teaching Security Analysis and Financial Statement Analysis courses from 2002 – 2009. He is the Treasurer of the CFA Society of East Tennessee and a member of the West Point Society of East Tennessee.

 

 

J. William Waltman, Jr., CPA, CFP®

     President, PYA Waltman Capital, LLC

 

Mr. Waltman graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting in 1992.  He worked in public practice as a CPA for 8 years before assuming his role at PYA Waltman Capital, LLC, which provides investment and financial services.  Bill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.  He currently serves on the board of directors of the Sedes Sapientiae Foundation, Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Planned Giving Advisory Committee, University of Tennessee Economics and Finance Advisory Councils and previously served on the board of directors of Magdalen College.  He and his family are active members of Holy Ghost Catholic Church.   Bill enjoys reading, biking and traveling with his wife, Kristine, and their five children.  Bill can be reached at 865.693.6301 or wwaltman@pyawaltman.com
